Step One... DONE!

Let me set the scene, Florida, outside temperature in the mid 40s, me, as sick as a dog with a sore throat, a bad cough and a temp of 101-- it only seemed right that Florida would be experiencing one of the coldest winters in about 30 years and get me sick after years of dodging the bullet.

Braving the crappy weather and a about a year of looking I finally got my third generation Trans AM on 1/6/10 from Clearwater, FL. It's a red and silver 1986 305 TPI, auto with T-Tops. Paid $1,700 for it with tax tag and title. It starts up every time and runs strong. It has new tires and a Fan switch with 3 modes, and the best part is the body is in very good shape with new paint.

But she does need some work,
here's the list in no real order:
change the oil
Shifter (the current one lifts right off)
Hood latch
Brakes (thinking a bubble in the break fluid)
Interior door handle
Weatherstripping
Crappy tint removed/new hatch with spoiler
New windshield and side windows
New seats
Fresh carpet
taillights
heat/ac
Driver's side T-top missing lock
No T-top keys
New rims
Driver's door sags a bit

Pictures to follow...
